Ability&Ambition have been approached by the owner of a local space and given the opportunity to see how best we can utilise it. After some consideration we would like to create a professional co-working space for all corporate needs, leaning more towards the NDIS space with view to bring in more travelling providers of supports that are difficult to ascertain in Swan Hill such as Mental Health Occupational Therapy, Support Coordination & Peer Support to name a few. Whilst Swan Hill can offer these services, providers are often inundated with referrals making wait times very long, in the NDIS landscape this can cause multiple issues for Participants looking for therapy and support with time constraints.
Ability&Ambition hope to be able to meet this gap in our community by offering a private & welcoming space for providers to hold meetings with Participants and their care teams, conduct assessments and utilise the space for any other requirements. Additionally, we would love to offer this opportunity to anyone in our community looking for a place they can facilitate workshops or a rent-a-room style space on regular or ad hoc basis.
At this time, we are taking expressions of interest to ensure this venture is viable for Ability&Ambition, we are encouraging anybody to come forward with EOI’s or ideas of how to best use this space.
