Chevorn Barclay
Founder & Managing Director
Chevorn began her career almost 12 years ago when she started studying and working in the Disability sector- since this time she has gone on to work in Family Services, Residential Care, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations & Youth Services but always returned to her roots within the disability space.
Chevorn’s passion is to create equity within her community.
Driven by lived experience of watching her Father & Brother, who are both on the Autism Spectrum, face adversity. Chevorn was later diagnosed with ADHD, which has further fuelled her dream of creating experiences and spaces of safety and inclusion for all.
Arrin Burrows
Arrin has been with us since July of 2022 however previous to this, Arrin was a Kindergarten Inclusion Support Assistant with Noah's Ark.
Arrin is currently studying a certification in Business Administration, but one day would love to study Adolescent Psychology as she had a passion for working with youth at risk derived from her own lived experience.
Arrin has a strong focus on inclusion, diversity and equity. She advocates for these values in everything she does both professionally and personally.
Holly Purton
Senior Direct Support Worker
Holly has been working in the Disability Services industry for 4 years. Holly has experience working in Specialist Disability Accommodation, Holly's passion for the field has been derived from her lived experience caring for her brother, who lives with Huntington's disease.
Holly is currently studying her Diploma of Community Services, with view to expand into Case Management. Holly aspires to work as a Support Coordinator in the future.
Holly's expertise and passion for the sector make her an invaluable member of the Ability&Ambition team. In her spare time, Holly enjoys hiking & spontaneous adventures with her friends, board games, books and "all things horror".
Leanne Lucy
Leanne has many diverse roles, including that with Ability&Ambition and her own personal training business to name a few. She holds certifications in Fitness, Reiki, Hypnosis & Meditation.
Leanne aspires to find a professional pathway that aligns with her values and allows her to positively contribute to her community. She strives to bring fulfilment to her own life and that of her Participants during each and every shift she works.
Leanne is understanding of the complex landscape that is the NDIS and seeks to support her Participants to navigate this with empathy, compassion and reassurance.
Sahra Summerfield
Sahra has been with A&A for several years now, starting as a Direct Support Worker and eventually transitioning into her current position as Ability&Ambition's Administration Manager.
Sahra has certifications in Community Services, Mental Health First Aid, Domestic Violence education, Childhood Trauma training, Lateral Violence & Cultural Safety
Sahra is a proud Wiradjuri woman living on Wemba Wemba country and encompassing her culture into her practice is something she is dedicated to.
In Sahra's personal life her passion in regards to her culture continues, with her time being spent engaging in traditional dance, art and language.
Tyler Carr
Tyler is certified in Mental Health, currently holding a certificate IV.
Tyler completed his placement at St. Mary’s P.S as a teachers aid and realised that working with young people was his passion- leading him straight to us!
You may recognise his friendly face from his previous work in hospitality at local venues- He brings a laid back vibe to the team that is winning him points with his client base so far.
Tyler enjoys gaming and sports outside of work, with Futsal being his favoured sport.
Oliver Wise
Oliver brings a deep connection to land, culture, and community through his work with Ability&Ambition. As a proud Indigenous man, he is passionate about sharing cultural knowledge and creating meaningful experiences that connect Participants to Country and culture.
Spending much of his time outdoors, Oliver supports Participants through hands-on activities that promote wellbeing, confidence, and a strong
sense of identity. Whether it's bush walks, cultural education, or simply time in nature, his approach is grounded in respect, tradition, and empowerment.
Oliver believes that reconnecting with land and culture can be healing, and he is committed to guiding others on that journey with care, strength, and authenticity.
Jordana Munro-Glare
Jordana is a compassionate and dedicated individual with a genuine commitment to helping others live meaningful and fulfilling lives. Her natural enthusiasm for supporting people, paired with her love for the outdoors, music, and fitness, enables her to build strong personal connections and provide holistic, person-centred care.
With a deep understanding of the challenges many individuals face, shaped by her own lived experiences, Jordana brings empathy, insight, and resilience to her role. This personal perspective fuels her passion for making a positive difference in the lives of those she
supports.
